SharkBite Max still offers a strong, watertight fit without glue or soldering—even on wet pipes—and it’s still compatible with PEX, copper, CPVC, and PE-RT. Max delivers double the burst pressure protection, the same reliable grip using half the insertion effort, and a reinforced steel collar for increased durability.
How durable? SharkBite Max comes with a 25-YEAR warranty when used with PEX, copper, CPVC, and PE-RT pipe.

IMPORTANT!
The shift to SharkBite Max is ongoing as individual Gen-1 models are discontinued.
Chadwell Supply will keep current item numbers and as Gen-1 items sell out, we will fill orders with the Max version.
Customers may receive either model until inventory is replaced.
All SharkBite products are expected to be updated to Max by early 2024.
