Getting Back on the Road After the Storms
Tuesday, September 12, 2017
After the meteorological and emotional roller coaster for our Tampa customers and employees over the weekend, we are happy to report that we have resumed local delivery routes in the Tampa area today. Tomorrow we plan to restart all delivery routes in the state - including most of Miami. Only flooded areas will be unavailable for a time.
The storms, of course, travelled well beyond Florida. While our other branches have been mostly unaffected, there are some difficult areas we may not be able to reach for a short time in the Savannah, Georgia Area. UPDATE: We are attempting to resume deliveries in Savannah. If our trucks encounter flooded areas, deliveries may be affected.
We are also very happy to report that our Houston Branch is up and running! The major roads that were closed have been re-opened and they are full speed ahead. We have a few employees, and we know of many customers who will be dealing with the effects of the flooding for some time. The Hatching Hope relief truck is expected to reach Houston some time tomorrow and will coordinate outreach efforts from our branch location. Watch for updates here and on our social media channels about those activities. If your property and your residents need assistance, feel free to reach out to Hatching Hope directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hurricane Irma in Florida and Beyond
Thursday, September 9, 2017
To our friends and customers throughout Florida, we pray you all have been able to prepare and you stay safe in the coming days.
We will continue to work to deliver supplies to our Florida customers as long as we can but, at this time and until the storm passes, we can only make limited deliveries to limited areas of West Central Florida through Friday, September 8, 2017.
Watch for updates here and through our Facebook page and other social media channels.
We have backup customer service personnel prepared to respond to your calls as needed. Call 888-341-2423 or email us with any questions or needs. As always, chadwellsupply.com is available 24/7 and is cloud based so should be up and running regardless of the storms. Deliveries from our other branches will continue normally.
Our prayers are with our customers and teams in Georgia and the Carolinas as they prepare for potential affects of Irma as well. We are looking ahead to support your properties in whatever ways we can as well as this storm passes.
